This is the 71-year-old Khan's fourth conviction since 2022, adding to the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) party's difficulties just before the polls on February 8. The lawsuit was launched by Bibi's first husband, Khawar Maneka, who claimed that she had broken the Islamic custom of keeping the required interval, or Iddat, between two marriages.
