Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami introduced the measure in the Assembly on Tuesday, and when the House meets again today, it will be discussed. With 47 members in the 70-member legislature held by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, the measure is projected to pass the chamber. The members of the ruling party chanted "Bharat Mata ki Jai," "Vande Mataram," and "Jai Shri Ram" as the bill was being presented in the assembly.
