In a virtual ceremony that was attended by Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Modi, and his colleague Pravind Jugnauth from Mauritius, the RuPay card services from India were also introduced there. Governors P Nandalal Weerasinghe of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Harvesh Seegolam of the Bank of Mauritius, and Shaktikanta Das of the Reserve Bank of India attended the event as well.
