3:48Now PlayingThe Kerala assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution urging the central government to amend prevailing wildlife protection laws to prevent human-animal conflicts in the state.
The resolution was passed after a 42-year-old man was trampled to death by a radio-collared wild elephant in the Mananthavady area of the mountainous district of Wayanad. More than four days after the incident, the animal is yet to be captured by forest officials.
