The producing company of Aamir Khan verified her passing. The actor started having hand swelling two months ago, according to Suhani's father, who spoke to the media about it. At first thought to be normal, the swelling eventually extended to her other hand and then her whole body. She saw many doctors, but her condition was never diagnosed. Suhani was brought to AIIMS around 11 days ago, and testing there indicated that she had a rare autoimmune condition called dermatomyositis.
