as posted by the channelTop News | In a money laundering case pertaining to the Delhi Excise policy scandal, the Supreme Court on Wednesday granted K Kavitha, a leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, temporary protection from arrest till March 13. A new summons was sent by the ED on February 21 for her attendance on February 26. At the request of her attorney, a bench consisting of Justices Bela M. Trivedi and Pankaj Mithal granted the lady leader temporary protection. The court scheduled the next hearing in this case for March 13. She had previously received several similar temporary protections from the court.
