According to officials, Sheikh was detained from the Minakhan fish farming area and will appear in court in Basirhat at 2:00 pm. Additionally, ADG South has a media conference set for 9 a.m. in the SDPO Minakhan office in Malancha. Since January 5, when ED agents went to his home to conduct a raid in relation to the ration fraud were ambushed and driven out, Sheikh has been evading capture. There is no stay on his arrest, the Calcutta High Court made plain on Monday. "His arrest is not under suspension.
