This is the "first-ever transoceanic sortie in which Indian women have used both hands." From INS Mandovi, Goa to Port Louis, Mauritius, the INSV Tarini set out on its trip on February 28. In this trip, the Indian Naval Sailing Association (INSA) is the sponsoring organisation. In addition to showcasing the extraordinary talent and devotion of the Indian Navy's female crew, the trip aboard INSV Tarini also emphasises the country's commitment to advancing gender equality and inclusiveness in formerly male-dominated areas.
