The former MP filed a lawsuit against Dubey and Dehadrai on grounds of defamation after they allegedly accused Moitra of engaging in dubious activities by asking probing questions in parliament and giving Hiranandani access to her parliamentary account login credentials—ostensibly in exchange for favours and expensive presents.
