as posted by the channelThe State Bank of India has petitioned the Supreme Court for an extension till June 30th in order to provide the Election Commission of India with information on Election Bonds. The SBI was previously requested by the Supreme Court to provide information by March 6. SBI said that retrieving information and matching it would be a time-consuming process in an application submitted to the supreme court. According to the SBI petition, deciphering the electoral bonds and linking contributors to the gifts made would be a difficult task because of the strict safeguards put in place to guarantee that the donors' identities remained hidden.
