as posted by the channelTop News | In an effort to increase security, multiple checkpoints have been installed throughout Srinagar one day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the city on Thursday. This will be Modi's first visit since Article 370 was abolished in August 2019, shortly after his government was re-elected to a second term. The Prime Minister, who spent last week in Jammu, is probably going to speak at a public gathering at Bakshi Stadium and unveil a number of initiatives pertaining to tourism and agriculture. The gathering, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), is anticipated to draw some two lakh attendees, including BJP employees, residents, and government representatives.
