In the Sandeshkhali extortion, land grab, and sexual assault charges, Shahjahan is the primary accused. The West Bengal CID sent him to the SSKM hospital for a medical examination before to granting detention. Shahjahan was taken into the custody of the CBI as he arrived back at Bhabani Bhawan, the police headquarters.
