The meeting was advertised in a tweet by Congress communication chief Jairam Ramesh, and it was set for 6 p.m. Former party presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are on the group, which is chaired by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Under the direction of former finance minister P Chidambaram, the Congress manifesto committee has been working on a draft manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress President Kharge received the document, which will now be brought to the CEC for more deliberation and finalisation.
