2:18Now PlayingBreaking News: Tamilisai Soundararajan, the governor of Telangana, tendered her resignation on March 18 and wrote a letter to President Murmu. She is probably going to compete as a BJP candidate from Tamil Nadu in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Tamilisai also tendered her resignation as Puducherry's Lieutenant Governor. Her resignation was received on the same day that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was supposed to undertake a roadshow in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and an electoral rally in Jagtial, Telangana. There are rumours that Tamilisai might run from one of three seats in Tamil Nadu, including the Thoothukudi seat, which is now occupied by Kanimozhi of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
