Kavitha was sent under custodial remand to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until March 23 by the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Saturday. Regarding the now-repeated Delhi liquor policy, the ED requested K Kavitha be placed under 10 days of detention. After her arrest in Hyderabad, her case was tried by a special judge bench led by M K Nagpal. Calling her detention unlawful, Kavitha declared, "We will fight it out in court."
