NH44, also known as the Old NH 7, is the longest national highway in India.

It stretches for a whopping 3,745 kilometres (2,327 miles), connecting Srinagar in the northern tip of Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari at the southernmost point of India. NH44 traverses a total of 11 Indian states, making it a true testament to the country's vastness and diversity and also passes by significant places like Agra, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. While the NH44 is the longest highway in India, it holds its own on the world stage as well. It ranks 22nd among the longest national highways globally, showcasing the vast scale of India's road network.
