YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTop News | For the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Shiv Sena (UBT) on Wednesday unveiled its initial list of 16 candidates, including former Union ministers Anant Geete and Arvind Sawant from the seats of Raigad and South Mumbai, respectively. After the faction split in 2022, the party nominated all five of the current MPs, who continued to work with party chairman Uddhav Thackeray. Arvind Sawant (South Mumbai), Vinayak Raut (Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg), Omraje Nimbalkar (Dharashiv), and Sanjay Jadhav (Parbhani) are these legislators. Following the Shiv Sena's split from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the Maharashtra power-sharing deal, Sawant resigned as a Union minister. Known as Thane, Vichare is the home district of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, whose uprising caused a rift in the Shiv Sena, which Bal Thackeray formed in 1966.
