At the Times Now Summit, Saxena declared, "I can assure the people of Delhi that the government will not be run from jail." Arvind Kejriwal, national convener of the AAP and chief minister of Delhi, was detained on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case involving the Delhi excise policy. Kejriwal was then placed under ED custody and remanded by the Rouse Avenue court till March 28.
