Kejriwal's ED detention on remand expires on Thursday when he is expected to appear in court on Rouse Avenue. Judge Swarana Kanta Sharma heard Arvind Kejriwal's appeal, in which he requested his immediate release on the grounds that the detention and the ensuing custody to the ED were "illegal." In the evening, the court will issue a directive.
