Top News | The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has terminated a corruption case involving Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction) politician Praful Patel, which was filed in 2017. In order to look into claims of irregularities in leasing aircraft for Air India, the CBI opened a case against representatives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Air India in May 2017 per the Supreme Court's directions. According to reports, the CBI terminated the case after around seven years of inquiry, clearing Praful Patel and later MoCA and Air India personnel. In March 2024, the closure report was submitted to the appropriate court. Keep an eye on Mirror Now for the latest developments.
