This comes after a ₹ 1,800 crore notice from the Income Tax Department. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar claimed he got a notice from the Income Tax Department. Earlier, the Delhi High Court dismissed the party's petition challenging the tax notices. The Congress is already facing a massive funds crunch after tax authorities imposed a penalty of ₹ 200 crore and froze its funds. Full story here.
