9:51Now PlayingTop News | Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent in judicial detention by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Monday till April 15 in relation to a money laundering case involving the now-canceled Delhi excise scheme. At 11:30 a.m., Kejriwal appeared before the court. Kejriwal was detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 and has remained under its supervision ever then. Kejriwal's ED detention was extended by a Delhi court on March 28 to April 1. Kejriwal, meantime, has filed a complaint in the Delhi High Court contesting his arrest, claiming that his fundamental rights were violated. The ED has been invited to respond by April 2 by the court. According to the ED, the policy's large profit margin was utilised to finance the political activities of the AAP.
