In a high-voltage encounter with Naxals, security forces killed at least 29 Maoists in the region. As per police, 3 jawans were also injured during the exchange of fire and were shifted to a higher centre for better treatment. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is still underway. Bastar IG P Sundarraj said that the operation could be seen as the biggest success in recent times.
