3:12Now PlayingThe Enforcement Directorate (ED) has strongly opposed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea challenging his arrest in the liquor policy case. In an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court, the ED alleged extensive evidence tampering, including the destruction of approximately 170 mobile phones during the scandal's emergence. Kejriwal's repeated evasion of nine ED summonses was also stated, along with the agency saying that his arrest followed due process. Dismissing claims of timing interference with the elections, the ED stressed that arrests are based on evidence and do not compromise fair elections. Kejriwal remains in Tihar jail since his March 21 arrest. Stay tuned to Mirror Now for more updates on this case.
