Breaking News: Two doctors from a private hospital in Jaipur, Dr Jitendra Goswami and Dr Sandeep Gupta of Fortis Hospital, have been arrested in connection with a case involving fake no-objection certificates (NOCs) for organ transplants. They face charges under sections 419, 420, 471, 370, and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Additionally, the Rajasthan government has removed Dr. Rajeev Bagrahatta, Principal of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, and Dr. Achal Sharma, Superintendent of the SMS Hospital, from their posts immediately in relation to the same case.
