The Election Commission of India (ECI) introduced this service for elderly voters over 85 years old and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). A dedicated team of polling officials and security personnel visited the residences of these voters to collect their votes. Voters were notified in advance to allow them to prepare. This initiative ensured that these voters could comfortably participate in the election process from their homes.
