Injuries were reported in southeastern Patuakhali, and an overcrowded ferry sank near Mongla Port. Despite warnings from meteorological departments, power and communication systems were disrupted. The cyclone affected West Bengal, coastal Bangladesh, Tripura, and parts of northeastern states, with winds reaching 110 to 120 kmph, gusting up to 135 kmph.
