4:15Now PlayingThe Maharashtra government on Friday announced a reduction in the taxes on diesel and petrol prices in the municipal areas of Brihanmumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. While presenting Budget 2024 for the state, Deputy Chief Minister and state Finance Minister Ajit Pawar announced that the government will slash the value-added tax (VAT) on fuel in these areas which will make petrol cheaper by 65 paise per litre and diesel by Rs 2.60 per litre.
