In Uttar Pradesh, many teachers from primary and secondary schools are protesting the state government's requirement for a digital attendance system, implemented by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. From July 11 onward, teachers are required to register their attendance digitally. Various teachers' organizations have labeled the mandate as ‘impractical,’ arguing that it is unrealistic to expect teachers to arrive on time to mark their attendance digitally consistently.
