3:30Now Playing22-year-old Manu Bhaker made history by becoming the first Indian player to win two Olympic medals in one single Olympic edition.
India's ace shooter scripted history twice at the Paris Olympics 2024, becoming the first female from the sport in the country to win a medal, after placing third in the women's individual 10m air pistol final, clinching a bronze medal.
Today Manu achieved yet another historic feat with partner Sarabjot Singh, bagging the bronze medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol final, making her the first athlete from Independent India to win two medals in the same Olympic Games.
The only Indian athlete who had done so before is Norman Pritchard, who won two silver medals in athletics during the 1900 Games when India was under British rule.
