Kejriwal had approached the Supreme Court to challenge the Delhi High Court's decision that upheld his arrest by the CBI in the Delhi excise policy case. The bench, consisting of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan, stated, "We are not granting any interim bail. We issue notice." The court has issued a notice to the CBI, providing the agency until August 23 to respond to Kejriwal's plea.
