This comes after a special court for elected representatives has directed the Mysuru Lokayukta Police to investigate Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife, and others concerning the alleged MUDA scam. The court ordered the police to submit a report within three months, following the Karnataka High Court's dismissal of Siddaramaiah's plea against the governor's approval for the investigation.
