YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn this episode of Urban Debate, anchor Ritangshu Bhattacharya discusses how as winter approaches, Delhi faces rising air pollution again. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court criticized Punjab and Haryana for ineffective action against stubble burning, a key contributor to Delhi’s pollution, especially in winter. After days of poor air quality, the AQI improved slightly to a "moderate" 198 on Tuesday. In response, the Delhi government has imposed a firecracker ban until January 1, 2025, hoping to alleviate the seasonal pollution crisis.
A panel of experts has joined Ritangshu Bhattacharya to discuss this in detail. Aam Aadmi Party's Pawan Sharma tells measures taken by the Delhi Government and says “Delhi's green cover has been increased from 20 to 23%..” BJP's Rannan Malik hits back.
