The 'Mindfulness City' in Gelephu is a massive project spread over 2,500 square kilometer.
It is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) and will have its own government and have the independence to make its own laws, as well as an independent judiciary.
The project was envisioned by the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck with the aim to improve the lives of Bhutanese people and build a place where people can live in harmony with others from all over the world.
