This happens because of the remarkable speed at which the ISS revolves around Earth, and it's something astronauts, including Sunita Williams, have talked about with great amusement.
The ISS revolves around Earth at an incredible speed of an average of 28,000 kilometers per hour, which is 17,500 miles per hour.
This means it completes a full orbit around our planet every 90 minutes.
