CCTV footage revealed that Sanjay More, the driver of the electric bus, lost control, hitting pedestrians and vehicles in Kurla. Panic spread among passengers as the bus swerved and collided with several objects before eventually halting. More was seen collecting two backpacks after the incident and later jumped out through the broken window. He was arrested and charged with culpable homicide. Concerns about the driver's lack of experience with electric buses prompted calls for better training and safety measures.
