Fourteen of the 16 crew were rescued and taken to Spain. Unverified footage shows the ship heavily listing before sinking. Ship tracking data indicates the vessel departed Saint Petersburg on December 11, heading for Vladivostok, carrying specialized port cranes and icebreaker parts. The operator, SK-Yug, declined to comment on the incident.
