Punjab Police have named British-Sikh soldier Jagjeet Singh in two FIRs regarding grenade attacks on police posts in Gurdaspur. Accused of collaborating with Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) leader Ranjeet Singh Neeta, Jagjeet allegedly orchestrated attacks using grenades and improvised explosive devices. The police registered FIRs under stringent laws, including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosives Act, after the attacks in December 2024. Investigations revealed Jagjeet's links to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and his role in recruiting members for the Akaljot Khalistan Force (AKF). His activities, including coordination with KZF from abroad, have raised concerns over national security.
