This comes after over 100 cases of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) have been reported in Pune, prompting health authorities to initiate surveillance. GBS, a rare neurological condition, can cause tingling sensations and, in severe cases, paralysis. While it is associated with infections, GBS is not contagious. Authorities reassure the public that there is no cause for alarm, as GBS cannot spread from person to person.
