President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, calling them “crimes against humanity.” In response, Ukraine launched drone strikes that disrupted operations at Moscow’s airports. Russia's defence ministry said it downed 117 Ukrainian drones and used Kinzhal hypersonic missiles to target military facilities in Ukraine. Russian forces claimed the destruction of U.S.-made Patriot systems and the capture of a village in Donetsk.
