The Supreme Court has constituted an SIT to probe the affairs of Vantara Wildlife Rescue Centre in Jamnagar, following complaints of environmental and financial violations. Headed by Justices Raghavendra Chauhan and J. Chelameswar, with IPS Hemant Nagrale and IRS Anish Gupta, the SIT was formed despite initial court reluctance. Vantara, run by Reliance Foundation, pledged full cooperation.
