Massive youth-led protests erupted in Kathmandu as they stormed the parliament building after Nepal banned Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and other platforms. Visuals showed thousands marching with slogans like “Unban social media” and “Shut down corruption, not social media.” Police confirmed at least 14 deaths in violent clashes, as demonstrators decried censorship and government corruption in the so-called “Gen-Z protest.” The deadly clash lead to the death of 9 people and have injured over 50 demonstators.
