The suspect, referred to as Volodymyr Z. in accordance with privacy laws, was taken into custody in Pruszkow, central Poland, following a European arrest warrant issued by German authorities, according to AP. Piotr Antoni Skiba, spokesperson for the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed the arrest during a press briefing. Polish police had attempted to detain him last year, but he had fled Poland for Ukraine.
