3:02Now PlayingA Philippine government vessel anchored near a disputed island in the South China Sea was "deliberately" rammed by a Chinese ship, the Philippine Coast Guard claimed on Sunday (Oct 12). According to the coast guard, Chinese maritime forces also deployed water cannons during the incident. Three vessels, including the BRP Datu Pagbuaya, were reportedly stationed near the Manila-controlled island to safeguard local fishermen when the Chinese ship aggressively confronted them using water cannon.
