A Kerala court on December 8th cleared actor Dileep of all charges in the 2017 abduction and sexual assault case involving a fellow actress. The Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court said the prosecution could not establish the Malayalam actor’s role in the crime. Six other accused, however, were convicted of rape and criminal conspiracy.
