3:01Now PlayingDense fog blanketed parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region on chilly Tuesday morning, sharply reducing visibility and delaying over 180 flights at IGI Airport. Visibility dropped to 600 metres at Palam and 450 metres at Safdarjung, prompting IndiGo to issue a travel advisory. Delhi’s air quality deteriorated to the “very poor” category, with an AQI of 327 recorded on February 4. The minimum temperature dipped to 8.2°C, slightly below normal. Clear skies and surface winds of 10–20 kmph are expected later, with conditions improving as a western disturbance approaches.
