Abdulrahman Al Thani also stated that he would seek de-escalation with Iran, as the conflict could destabilise the region further. Describing strikes by Iran on Gulf countries as a “dangerous miscalculation," the Qatari PM called for de-escalation of the conflict. "We continue to seek de-escalation," he said. Abdulrahman Al Thani also pointed out that 25 per cent of Iranian attacks were directed towards civilian facilities.
