16:14Now PlayingSlovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of effectively running the European Union and deliberately blocking the Druzhba oil pipeline to interfere in Hungary’s elections, warning of a “severe shock” for Central Europe’s economy amid the escalating Iran-Middle East conflict. Speaking after the Brussels EU summit, Fico slammed the bloc’s “powerlessness” and Ursula von der Leyen for telling Kyiv not to worry about the pipeline because “90 billion you will get anyway,” while contrasting the EU’s Russia obsession with the US decision to lift sanctions on Russian oil. Fico refused to back Ukraine conclusions and demanded an immediate inspection and reopening of Druzhba to avert gasoline price spikes and inflation.
