5:15Now PlayingThe Noida International Airport, Uttar Pradesh's fifth international airport, has been inaugurated under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This airport, part of the vision for a developed India and Uttar Pradesh, will serve as a major logistics gateway for northern India and a key component of the National Gati Shakti Master Plan.
With an annual capacity of over 120 million passengers, it features a 137,000 square meter terminal, 48 check-in counters, self-baggage drop facilities, and fast-track immigration counters. The airport can handle 30 aircraft takeoffs and landings per hour and is designed as a multi-model transit system integrating road, rail, metro, and regional transport. It also includes a cargo hub with an annual capacity of 250,000 metric tons, planned to expand to 1.8 million metric tons.
The airport's design reflects heritage and inclusive development, featuring traditional Uttar Pradesh themes and handicrafts, aiming to boost tourism, exports, and the economy.
