The accident occurred around 2 AM as strong winds and heavy rain battered the area, causing a massive concrete slab to cave in on workers below. Several labourers were injured, while fears remain that more workers may still be trapped under the debris. SDRF teams, police and local authorities launched an overnight rescue operation using cranes and heavy machinery. Authorities are now investigating possible structural flaws, construction lapses and the impact of extreme weather on the deadly collapse.
